Sweetcheeks Partners with Xero to Celebrate Small Businesses
When we first received the request to create custom brand logo cookies for Xero, it was an incredibly exciting moment for the Sweetcheeks team. Like many small businesses, we rely on Xero’s platform, so when we reviewed their inquiry and saw their response to “how did you find out about Sweetcheeks?” was simply, “You’re a Xero customer,” we were absolutely thrilled.

Working closely with Tamara Somers, Xero’s GM of Sustainability and Impact, we learned that Xero had purposely sought out their own customers to supply and support their upcoming event.
In a year that has brought its fair share of economic ups and downs, having a major corporation actively choose to invest in small businesses makes an enormous difference.
For us, this order of premium logo cookies provided a much-needed financial boost during a challenging month and “grateful” is truly an understatement.
Launching Xero For Good in Australia
The event itself was hosted to celebrate the launch of Xero For Good: Financial fitness. This inspiring program is designed to help small businesses build their confidence and capability.
When we asked Tamara Somers about the inspiration behind the initiative and what Australians can expect, she explained: “Xero For Good is our social impact initiative that aims to empower vulnerable small businesses and non-profits through sustainable practices, financial education and strategic funding.”

A Community of Incredible Suppliers and Guests
The businesses featured at the launch were true examples of the community the program is built for and built with.
We were honoured to provide our logo cookies alongside a fantastic lineup of fellow Xero customers who supplied the event:
- Joanne Flowers of Manuka: Supplied the beautiful floral arrangements.
- Elka Print & Merchandising: Provided the high-quality event merchandise and Ink Printing helped with all of the event’s printing needs.
The launch also welcomed several special guests who are deeply involved in supporting the business community:
- Angela Kwan from Catalyser: Instrumental in building the original Xero For Good pilot in Aotearoa New Zealand.
- Kim Linton from Jim’s Bookkeeping Ashburton: A dedicated Xero bookkeeper who became the very first mentor in the Australian Xero For Good Ambassador Program.
- Verity Hare and the TradieWives team: An incredible community of women running trades businesses that Xero has proudly partnered with in Australia.
Seeing the collective work of so many passionate small business owners throughout the room made the idea behind Xero For Good truly tangible. We are so proud that our corporate logo cookies could be a sweet part of such an impactful initiative.
